Remi · Why we started

Hiring had become a fee, not a service

Is this person right. Can they work here. What will it really cost. And who is accountable when something goes wrong.

I started VERTX because hiring was broken on both sides. Companies paid an agency a large share of a salary for a shortlist they still had to check themselves, and good people were lost in job boards that never replied. Those four questions sat under every hire.

So we built Remi. Tell it who you need, for any role, and it agrees the criteria with you, shows you two or three people who fit, with the evidence, and books the interviews. Every UK candidate's right to work is checked before you see them, and every company is verified. You pay a monthly plan, never a hiring fee.

We started with engineers abroad, and they are still here: independent contractors, checked by us, who work directly with your team and set their own day rate. The aim is simple. A team should be able to hire well without paying a fortune for it, and every person we introduce should be treated fairly.

    Every UK candidate's right to work is checked before a company sees them, and every company is verified on Companies House. Recruiters and agencies are held back.

    One monthly plan and no hiring fee, however many people you hire. Clear prices, no invented numbers. We would rather say less and stand behind all of it.

    Evidence, not CVs

    Remi grades every match against the criteria you agreed, with quotes from the person's own profile, so you can see why someone fits before you meet them.

    Fair to the people we introduce

    Talent never pay, in the UK or abroad. Contractors set their own day rate, and every person is treated as well as any permanent hire.
