VERTX COOKIE POLICY
VERTX TALENT LTD ("VERTX", "we") uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries. This policy lists every one we set, by name or by the prefix a group of them shares, says what each is for, and tells you how to change your mind. It also lists the cookie our video player sets, and explains what pages run by other providers may set.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use tracking pixels, and we do not use Google Analytics.
1Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Browsers also offer local storage, which holds information in the same way without using a cookie. The rules that apply to cookies apply equally to local storage, so both are listed here.
2What we use
2.1Strictly necessary
These are needed for the platform to work, or to do something you have asked for, such as remembering a choice you made or keeping a form you are filling in. They are set without asking, and none of them is used for analytics or advertising.

We used to set a cookie called vertx_login_side. We no longer use it, and if your browser still has it, the sign-in page deletes it.
2.2Analytics, only if you accept

Our PostHog instance is hosted in the European Union. Before any analytics event leaves your browser we remove values that could identify you, including any email address, name, telephone number or access token that appears in a web address.
2.3Set by our video player

2.4Pages and windows run by other providers
Some steps take place on a page or in a window run by another provider: paying on a page hosted by one of our payment providers, an identity or right to work check with Veriff, and, when we switch it on, the bot check on our forms run by Cloudflare. That provider may set its own cookies or storage there, under its own cookie policy. We do not set or read them. Our Service providers page lists who these providers are, except payment providers, which are listed by category.
2.5Advertising and marketing
We set none. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting anything.
3Your choices
3.1The banner
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. You can Accept or Decline. Declining leaves only the strictly necessary entries in section 2.1, and the video player cookie in section 2.3 if you play a video. It does not affect your access to anything.
3.2Changing your mind
Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page. The banner reopens, shows your current choice, and lets you change it. Declining after previously accepting stops analytics immediately, in the same session.
3.3Your browser
You can also view, block and delete cookies and storage through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary entries in section 2.1 will stop you signing in.
4Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if what we set changes, or if the law does. The version number and date at the top tell you when it was last revised. Where a change is material, we will ask for consent again through the banner.
