Company verification
How your company is verified, and what opens up once it is.
Why we verify
Verification makes sure every company on VERTX is who it says it is, and that the person hiring can act for it. Only the account Owner does it, once.
Two steps
Your company must be active on Companies House (checked when you sign up). Then:
- Domain record: add the TXT record shown on the Verify card to your company's email domain, then press Check now.
- Director check: verify with ID. Your name and month and year of birth are matched with the directors listed on Companies House. We keep the result only, never your document.
- Not a director? Upload a letter of authority signed by a director. We confirm it by calling your company on its public number.
Before you are verified
You can use Remi, create roles and see first names and levels. Profiles, photos, work history, evidence quotes, interviews, offers and payments open once you are verified.
