Questions
What engineers ask before they join.
Do I pay anything?
No, never. Sylpen never charges you: no sign-up fee, no premium plan and nothing taken from your salary. Companies pay Sylpen a monthly plan, never a fee for hiring you.
Do I need a GitHub profile?
It helps, but it isn't required. Share a GitHub or project link if you have one, or tell Syl about the systems you built. Companies judge what you shipped and the decisions behind it, not your job title.
Do I see the salary before I say yes?
Yes. A request shows the role's salary, hours, location and terms before you decide. If you set a private minimum, it is never shown to a company; it only hides roles that pay less.
Who can see my profile?
Only UK companies Sylpen has verified, when they are hiring for a role that fits you. Your current employer never sees you, and you can hide from any company you name. Nothing is shown until you publish your profile.
