Questions
What designers ask before they join.
Do I pay anything?
No, never. Sylpen never charges you: no sign-up fee, no premium plan and nothing taken from your salary. Companies pay Sylpen a monthly plan, never a fee for hiring you.
Do I need a portfolio?
It helps most. Share a link or a few case studies and Syl reads them with you. Companies judge the work and the decisions behind it, not your job title.
Do I see the salary before I say yes?
Yes. A request shows the role's salary, hours, location and terms before you decide. If you set a private minimum, it is never shown to a company; it only hides roles that pay less.
Who can see my profile?
Only UK companies Sylpen has verified, when they are hiring for a role that fits you. Your current employer never sees you, and you can hide from any company you name. Nothing is shown until you publish your profile.
